Monica Williams

Monica Williams is the owner of Paff Electric and Solar, the only Cincinnati woman-owned company providing customers with solar, battery storage, EV Charging, and LED retrofitting solutions.

She went to Clemson University and graduated with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. While at Clemson, Monica took a renewable energy course. She immediately knew renewable energy was something she wanted to learn more about, and one day pursue.

After graduating and spending years as a Department of Defense contractor, she had the opportunity in 2016 to become the owner of Paff Electric and jumped at the chance. Paff Electric was established in 1985 and has always been a Cincinnati local family-owned residential and commercial electrical contractor.

Once Monica took over operations in 2016, she immediately became interested in ways to provide customers with energy efficient solutions. The company began providing customers with LED retrofitting, then eventually expanded the energy efficient department into Solar, battery storage, and EV Charging station installations for both commercial and residential customers.

At Paff Electric, they believe sustainability starts from the ground up. They hire qualified employees from the IBEW Local Union 212 and the IBEW/NECA JATC. All of the certified technicians are local to the area, trained by some of the best instructors in the country, and are paid competitive wages with full benefits and retirement. Paff Electric provides commercial and residential customers with clean energy solutions (solar, battery storage, EV charging stations, and LED retrofitting). They also buy and install American-made products.

As they like to say at Paff Electric — “Sustainability starts with us!”
