Illinois Governor Signs Reimagining Electric Vehicles in Illinois Act
November 18, 2021On November 16, Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker signed the Reimagining Electric Vehicles in Illinois Act, which “provides incentives for electric vehicle production across Illinois to help reach a 2030 goal of putting one million electric cars on the road.”
In hopes of becoming a leader in the clean transportation revolution, the legislation aims to draw electric vehicle manufacturers, charging stations, and automotive parts manufacturers to the state.
